AAA OBSERVING AT INWOOD HILL PARK
AAA member Jason Kendall will host observing sessions at Inwood Hill and Fort Tryon Parks.
INWOOD PARK
Observing at Inwood Park will take place every Saturday evening during 2010.
Entrance to the observing location is at Payson and Beak Streets. It is a 200-yard walk to the top of the hill, with a 200 foot elevation gain, and there is no lighting in the park. Chalk marks always mark the path. If there are no chalk marks and no signs at the entrance, then there is no event. Call the hotline in advance to determine if the event is occurring.
Take the A Train to Dyckman/200th Street, walk one block West on Dyckman to Payson, and go up the hill to Beak Street. The Park entrance is there. Car parking at the garage is available.
