Beginning in July, thanks to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, the Amateur Astronomers Association will host observing sessions on Thursday evenings from dusk to 10 The event is on Pier 1 of the Brooklyn waterfront, just below the Brooklyn Bridge.
Look for us along the waterfront. The conservancy has graciously provided four 8" Dobsonian telescopes for our use. Everything is free!
Check with Rich Rosenberg (president@aaa.org) to find out if the event is on.
Beginning in late July, along with our observing session, the conservancy will host free Movies With A View. For a list of films, go to http://www.brooklynbridgepark.org/go/programs-/-events/movies-with-a-view.
