Stargazing at Brooklyn Bridge Park

See the stars from Brooklyn! In conjunction with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York hosts “Journey to the Stars”  – stargazing on Thursday evenings in July and August from dusk until 10:30pm. We will set up hi power telescopes for views of the moon when visible, and stars and planets in the summer sky. This event is free and you do not need tickets.

Along with our stargazing sessions, the Conservancy will present free “Movies With A View”, sponsored by the SyFy Channel. NOTE NEW OBSERVING LOCATION: The observing area for this event is at the waterfront, left of Pier 1, near the concession stands. Weather permitting.
