AAA Urban Starfest in Central Park

See the universe from Central Park! Join the Amateur Astronomers Association (AAA) of New York at their annual Autumn Urban Starfest on Saturday, October 18, 2014, starting at 7:00 pm at the Sheep Meadow. AAA members will share views through their telescopes of Mars, star clusters, double stars, and other objects in the night sky. See the Summer Triangle stars of Vega, Altair and Deneb with your own eyes!  Amazing views of the heavens brought to you by the AAA and the Urban Park Rangers lead by Sgt. Sunny Carrao.

  • Free and open to the public!  All ages welcome.

WHEN: 7:00 – 10:00 pm, Saturday, October 18, 2014 – clear skies or cloudy.  Free raffle at 7:45.

WHERE: Central Park, Sheep Meadow.  Enter at W67st and Central Park West.
